The devil’s mission is to steal, kill and destroy.
one of the ways he goes about his perpetuation is through the operation of lies. This is why he is called the father of lies.

What is a lie?

Lie is anything void of truth.
The truth is His word.
So, everything God has said about you in His word is the truth.
God calls things that are not as if they were. Many promises He has told you via His word can only be received by particular version of you.
Many times He talks to the furnished and perfected part of you.
Even though you may be broken and full of weakness now. He is reckoning us to grow up constantly.

This is where the devil takes advantage to torment us.
He sees the struggling you now and the word God has spoken to you and tells you it can never be your reality.
And in the senses realm of life, you can readily agree because you are so inadequate; hence you buy the lie quickly.
For instance, You sense God’s calling to be a business man who will financed the gospel, but right now you are broke. The devil sells lies to you about not giving since you barely have to eat, thus you become unfaithful with your offerings and services to God and family.

This is why the Holy Spirit was sent to us after Jesus ascended to heaven.
He is to help with our imperfection, to help us become that version of us God saw from the beginning.

The gap between what you are now to what God sees is your believe gap powered by faith.
Listening to lies destroy your ability to see and become what God sees.
