Reflections 1
One of my most favorite places in the world is my secret place, this is where I become very intimate with my creator, father and friend. where I am myself with no shame or pressure to impress anyone. He becomes my focus and attraction.
It isn’t a one time thing for me and it shouldn’t become a religious routine for any. But a place you go not out of duty but out of Love.
When you are addicted to the secret place, you don’t feel normal until you have gotten your dose of his overwhelming, soothing fellowship, which keeps increasing.
The secret place is where my being expresses pure love and worship, it is a place exclusive for me and HIM, 3 is a crowd.
My ears are trained to listen and hear his voice in the secret place, it’s a place where my weakness is exchanged daily for his strength.
I find my inspiration from a secret found in the secret place. The source of my creativity and passion is there.
He corrects me and rebukes me, tells me what is to come because my ears learn to stick to his lips as I worship.
In the secret place time is nothing, as a thousand hours feels like a minute because I bow before a timeless and ageless lover.
Only lovers can stay there, casual friends and mere acquaintances breeze in and out, like a ritual it has become for them.
I never want to lose this place, I will do all I can as he gives me grace to stay away from offense and distractions so that my heart keeps yearning for him as the deer pantheth for the waters.
Reflection 2
Recently, while I was meditating, I could not help but thank my 16 year old self (younger Kenny) for every decision she made. In fact I reflected on my early twenties and I was so indebted to her, thanking her for all the right choices she made, the correct core values she adopted even when it was hard, the people she submitted herself to in order to learn. She was barely an adult but she made some decisions deliberately which has made the present Dr Kenny what she is today. Future Dr Kenny is still loading.
How would you want the older version of yourself to feel about the younger version of you right now?
If many of our adults could travel back in time, they would give good beating to their teen versions for the mistakes their actions have caused them to suffer presently as adults.
Now they see better, although all things still work together for good in the end but let’s endeavour to live our lives each day intentionally, so that your future self can give your present self a hug of thanks for sparing her or him the painful consequences of poor choices.
So I have this Bluetooth speaker I got as a gift, I am able to amplify music and anything sound from my phone.
Reflection 3
The quality of my Bluetooth speaker is quite good. The sound is crystal clear without a screech until one day…
I was enjoying a song and I had to leave my phone in the room, taking only the bluetooth speaker. I went outside to the car park which was a little distance from the house. Guess what? my powerful brand new bluetooth speaker made a little break and ceased emitting sound, the bluetooth coverage was stretched and couldn’t work.
I immediately learnt a powerful lesson.
My bluetooth speaker is only as useful as its proximity to the phone.
The phone is the source and connotes God.
The bluetooth coverage connotes the presence of God via (your secret place)
The bluetooth speaker is a vessel that shows off the technology of the phone which is me. I show forth the glory of God.
As long as I remain in my secret place, I will keep radiating God’s glory and vice versa.

Reflection 4
Electricity is very dangerous. The voltage that comes from high tension wire can automatically toast a human flesh. I have experienced some residual electric shock before and the feeling was very paralysing. Sometimes I wonder how something can be so dangerous yet useful that every human life and civilization depends on it.
Alas! This is something I got…
God is far more than electricity. He created it, I can see His attributes in all things he has made. Who dares enter into an electric field without being insulated, and I can picture a nature of God meditating on electricity.
The high tension wire cannot supply us light directly to power our appliances, they will blow up.
This is why we need a transformer, which helps us step down the current in a way that it becomes easy to use. The fan, AC, TV, pressing iron etc are useless without light.
God’s nature which I liken to be more than electricity cannot stand anything unholy. The electricity- like his nature He has ,will rebel and fight the object irrespective of who they are. He is a loving God but has a holy nature that runs like a principle system (of electricity).
Just like Elena in the frozen cartoon movie – She loved her sister so much but she had a power that froze anyone who touched her to death. She had to run away to protect her loved one from herself. What a dilemma
God hides Himself in light, he is the Father of all lights. His voltage cannot be measured, it is too much that it powers the whole universe, yet because of His loving nature He cannot help Himself from relating to us. So he had to send Jesus who became our step down transformer. He stepped into earth, and faced the full wrath of an holy God(electrifying God) because our sins killed him and the love nature of the father brought him back after 3 days.
So we have access to come to God with no fear of electrocution like the days of old..
That is why we can dwell in His secret place with high tension grid and not be burnt instead we become a transmitter,
You carry power, you burn. You carry light too, you light up your world.
