KINGDOM MINDSET

KINGDOM MINDSET

Hello Greatness,

After salvation, the next thing is to start adopting a mindset of the new kingdom you now belong to. This is an ongoing process called TRANSFORMATION.

Salvation and transformation are not the same thing.

A lot of people have received Jesus into their hearts, but they refused to grow (by reading the word, spending time in his presence and exposing their minds to healthy and Godly resources).  They pretty much remain the same with no fruit to show that they have really met the Lord.

At salvation your spirit man is regenerated or made alive and connected to God, however your soul is not. Your soul houses your mind which is the seat of your emotions, intellect, imagination, memory, and thoughts.

Your mind is not born again; it needs to be renewed daily so that it can now begin to cooperate with what has happened in the spirit and compel the body to follow suit.

Developing a kingdom mindset, is thinking like the king who heads the kingdom you now belong to.

There is a way the kings and citizens of this kingdom think, which is so different from how the world thinks.

You can come into his kingdom with your worldly views and perception, but you cannot afford to stay that way.

This is because staying that way will make you act differently from the kingdom you now belong to.

This is why after salvation brings you into the kingdom, transformation helps you stay identified in the kingdom and useful for the king’s service.

The goal of transformation is to look like the king and think like the king.

We all adopted mindsets as we grow up naturally, we picked things growing up, from our significant caregivers, society, past trauma and experiences that are not necessarily correct.

They all need to be given to the Holy Spirit for purging and realignment.

There is a process and price for transformation which entails discipline and rearrangement of your priority.

You cannot develop a kingdom mindset without reading the manual that governs the kingdom.

The manual is his word; the word of God is a map full of directions on how to act and think.

As you spend time in your personal devotion worshiping the Lord, meditating, and reading his word, we begin to feed our spirit and give room for the spirit of God to help us with the realignment of our minds.

This is an immensely powerful aspect of our life; it is like a sponge that soaks in fluid continually and unconsciously.

So, one way to REWIRE the mind is to expose it to good and godly stuff so it can soak it in and give off the bad stuff it has previously soaked in.

The perspective of  heaven is vastly different from the world on every issue.

That is why as you come to the Lord, some mindsets must drop.

This is the sign that you are really growing.

People stay in the glitch for so long because they still hold on to faulty mindset and have made it an idol.

They remain the same in attitude and experience no joy of salvation.

Sadly, some began the journey of transformation and were discouraged because the changes they want to see in their lives are coming slowly.

Transformation (though progressive) takes time.

Being in a community that encourages your baby steps to change helps a great deal.

Also, your transformation has a timeline that reveals if you are being serious with your work with God.

There is a certain way of thinking that should not be dominant in your life having met with Christ for many years.

Transformation can be measured by your level of yielding.

There may be some aspects of your life that are more trailing than some, it is time for you to table it all before the Lord.
