Hello Greatness,
So about 24years ago, at 18 I met J.A
at the University of Ibadan chapel ground at an evening prayer meeting. We were both freshmen in college and nominated to serve as exceutives alongside 38 students for the Prelim Science Students’ Family (PSSF) for that session(PSSF is a fellowship for only 100 Level Science Christian students).
Also, in attendance that evening were outgoing exceutives who were about to hand over to us.
It was getting really dark that evening as we all sang some worship songs, the whole atmosphere was electrifying, tonguing everywhere, I loved it.
It was the kind of space I had always been used to even as a Pastor’s kid.
We all got the chance to introduce ourselves briefly as it was already dark,so we couldn’t make out faces like that. JA didn’t ring any bell at all
PSSF is a beautiful family, we all loved each others just like family should . One of the standing rules was no dating allowed as an exceutive in the first year till you hand over and move to your next year and I was cool with that.
My conservative upbringing wouldn’t even make me go down the lane of dating. Looking back, I think I was to kasko (slang used for spiritual and conservative personality).
I had no time for boys, lol.. although I had many fellowship brothers as close friends. I had medical school to woo and pursue to become a doctor thus no time to waste.
I may have meet JA personally once or twice initially during our executive meetings as he was the General Secretary of the fellowship then. I could remember his humour and smiles and that was that about him full stop.
He never ever crossed my mind .To be contd
Your Coach,
Dr Kenny.
