I am a twin. Many people still can’t tell us apart, but our husbands can tell almost immediately. However, there was just one aspect they had to master with time and that was our voices. Over the phone we could sound so alike, due to our almost identical mannerism and gesticulation. We used this to catch some fun with our husbands severally when we both just got married, but now, things have changed. We definitely can’t get away with such jokes and not be caught on the spot. Why? What has changed? We have both bonded with our respective partners so much that they know our voices. They can tell the difference. They know which is which. No matter how identical we sound, My husband knows his wife.
Have you gotten so intimate with God that you can differentiate his voice from those of yours and the devil? Are you cultivating the spirit within so much that you can discern deception and sense manipulation? When you spend time with God well enough, you will know how He speaks and recognize his voice even from the noise. How can you say you love someone and still don’t know how He speaks to you? It is either there is a fundamental communication problem or there is no relationship at all. God is a lover, He wants you.

The CCTV camera rolls and a man watches the scene of his wife with another man. He weeps painfully, upset and so torn. I can’t understand! I give her everything! And he is right. Even his wife tells her cheat partner how great her husband is. She breaks down to cry in deep remorse and desperation, even her cheat partner is unable to console her, he walks away in irritation. The husband on watching the footage decides to let go seeing how broken she became after the act. Not quite long, wife comes into hubby office with a big smile, not knowing that her hubby had seen all she did. Hubby can’t help himself, carries his wife and speaks words of strength to her. He confesses his love to her and with tears in his eyes, told her I saw it all but I forgive you.
We cheat on Him when we allow other things take his place in our lives. Any thing that distracts us from responding to his love and his will is a cheat partner. He keeps loving and forgiving us even when we don’t deserve it. Stop taking him for granted. Stop cheating, it breaks his heart and it destroys you in the process. He saw your mess already, He knows what you did, just come clean and receive his mercy and love.
